Brooklyn New York Homeowners– New York Senate Passes Bill to Restore Star Property Tax Rebate Checks June 6th, 2012
Brooklyn Homeowners – On Wednesday June 6th, 2012 New York State Senate passed legislation, sponsored by Senator Kenneth LaValle (R-C-I, Port Jefferson), that could restore the STAR property tax rebate program. This bill would provide property tax relief to senior citizens in the 2012-13 school year and property tax relief to middle class families starting in 2013-14. This bill was sent the the Assembly.
