East Flatbush – Citizens For A Better Community Block Clean Out
On Saturday May 29th, 2011 East Flatbush Brooklyn Citizens for a Better Community Association had its annual “Block Clean Out”. This Annual event gives home owners an opportunity to clean out garages, attics and storage rooms. The Block of East 38th street Bet Foster Ave and Farragut Road was closed for six hours. NYC Department of Sanitation was on hand for the collection/pickup, neighbors did some swapping, bartering, trashing and recycling. Afterwards the block turned into a mini play street the the kids. Even though this event requires hard work- Everyone in this East Flatbush Brooklyn Community had a good time .
When you are looking to buy a Brooklyn New York home, find a neighborhood were the residents have a sense of community and are active.
