NYC Parks offers Free 8 Week Shape Up NYC Instructor Training Course
NYC Parks is offering a comprehensive 8-week training program that will train residents to become fitness instructors for Shape Up NYC. Subjects covered include anatomy, exercise physiology, injury prevention, music, cueing and body toning with weights. Upon Completion of the course participants will receive practical experience by leading one Shape up NYC class per week for a 6-month period and will receive an NYC Parks Certificate of Completion.
